Lockdown 4.0 : Here what MHA said


The ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday extended the lockdown period upto 31st March to curb the spread of COVID-19 with some relaxation. 

They have issued an order in which they said that schools, colleges and hotels will remain closed. Furthermore, domestic flights are also going to be closed till any orders about its opening comes.




 
Now I am going to discuss about the relaxations given the govt of India:-

  • Inter-state movement of migrants through special trains and buses with mutual consent of State administration.
  • The Central government has also permitted State governments to identify their zones as Red, Green, and Orange following standard procedures.
  • Sports complexes were also allowed to function to certain extent.
  • Shops having essential food items are already in function.
  • Vegetable shops are also opened.
  • Many states have been allowed at their will to open Liquor shops but with added taxes so as to income more and more in this period. This will pave the way to help poor people and give them adequate rations.

Barack Obama announced his memoir " A Promised Land "

  Former U.S President Barack Obama has announced his first memoir, as a President of U.S.A, titled " A Promised Land ". The book consists of 768 pages. It will be published in November 2020 by Penguin Random House. As per sources the scheduled release will be 17 November. The interesting thing is that it is going to be published in 25 different languages to cater to needs of global populace. This is one of two volumes going to be published. This volume tells about his early political life, his presidential candidacy and campaign in 2008 and ending with the death of most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden in 2011.

Amphan destruction !

Amphan, the super tropical cylone brought destruction: The Amphan cyclone affected West Bengal severely. The coastal areas of West Bengal saw 180kmph and outskirts along with Kolkata observed 130–140 kmph speed. It is a tropical cyclone on Bay of Bengal. The aftereffects are really pathetic. Houses made up of mud are completely destroyed. College street, a famous site in Kolkata near Presidency University, a hub for students to buy books was in poor condition. The book stalls full of books got destroyed and it is observed that books are lying on the roads like garbage sheets. It is so pathetic to see. Many people died at the spot when trees fall on their heads. It is unimaginable and dangerous too. I hope, we will overcome the situation. And pray to God to simultaneously end Covid-19 crisis and “Amphan” too.
